Felipe Valdés Correa cursó sus estudios en la Universidad de los Andes, titulándose como Abogado el año 2003. Posteriormente realizó entre los años 2006 y 2007 un LLM en la Universidad de New South Wales, Sídney Australia. Durante el año 2009, realizó un diplomado en Tributación de la Empresa en la Universidad de los Andes. Cuenta además con un Magister en Dirección y Gestión Tributaria de la Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez realizado entre los años 2014 y 2015.
Felipe se desempeñó entre los años 2002 y 2006 como Abogado asociado del Estudio Jurídico Chadwick y Aldunate. Previo a ingresar a Santander Valdés, entre los años 2007 y 2016, trabajo en la oficina de Abogados “Estudio Guzmán”.
Actualmente se desempeña asesorando a personas y empresas en materias tributarias y corporativas, con énfasis en Optimización Tributaria, Reorganización de Empresas, Reestructuración de Patrimonios Familiares y Gobierno Corporativo, Consultoría Tributaria, Litigios Tributarios, Fiscalizaciones y Procesos Administrativos ante el Servicio de Impuestos Internos, Tributación Internacional, Herencias y Donaciones, Procesos ante la Tesorería General de la República y Municipalidades, Fusiones y Adquisiciones y Asuntos Corporativos en general.
Es miembro del Colegio de Abogados de Chile y Oficial de Reserva de la Armada de Chile.

Felipe Valdés Correa obtained his Law degree from Universidad de los Andes, graduating as an Attorney in 2003. He subsequently pursued a Master of Laws (LL.M.) at the University of New South Wales in Sydney, Australia, between 2006 and 2007. In 2009, he completed a postgraduate diploma in Corporate Taxation at Universidad de los Andes. Additionally, he holds a Master’s Degree in Tax Management and Administration from Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez, earned between 2014 and 2015.
From 2002 to 2006, he served as an Associate Attorney at the law firm Chadwick y Aldunate. Prior to joining Santander Valdés, he worked at the law firm Estudio Guzmán from 2007 to 2016. Currently, he advises individuals and corporate clients on tax and corporate matters, with a strong focus on tax optimization, corporate reorganization, family wealth restructuring and governance, tax consulting, tax litigation, audits and administrative proceedings before the Chilean Internal Revenue Service, international taxation, inheritance and gift tax matters, proceedings before the Chilean Treasury Department and municipal authorities, as well as mergers and acquisitions and general corporate affairs.
He is a member of the Chilean Bar Association and serves as a Reserve Officer in the Chilean Navy.
