Matías Gutiérrez Ginesta cursó sus estudios en la Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez, titulándose el 2025 como abogado con mención en Derecho Privado - Corporativo. Durante su época universitaria fue ayudante de Derecho Internacional Público, Persona y Negocio, y Responsabilidad Civil.
Antes de ingresar a Santander Valdés, se desempeñó como procurador en Montt y Cía., donde trabajó en asuntos litigiosos tanto civiles como penales. Posteriormente, procuró en Jara del Favero Abogados, concentrando su práctica en las áreas de Derecho Inmobiliario, Corporativo y Laboral. Actualmente se desempeña asesorando a personas y empresas en materias tributarias y corporativas, con énfasis en Optimización Tributaria, Reorganización de Empresas, Reestructuración de Patrimonios Familiares y Gobierno Corporativo, Consultoría Tributaria, Litigios Tributarios, Fiscalizaciones y Procesos Administrativos ante el Servicio de Impuestos Internos, Tributación Internacional, Herencias y Donaciones, Procesos ante la Tesorería General de la República y Municipalidades, Fusiones y Adquisiciones y Asuntos Corporativos en general.

Matías Gutiérrez Ginesta obtained his Law degree from Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez, graduating in 2025 with a specialization in Private and Corporate Law. During his time at university, he served as a teaching assistant in Public International Law, Persons and Business, and Civil Liability.
Before joining Santander Valdés, he worked as a legal clerk at Montt y Cía., where he was involved in both civil and criminal litigation matters. He later clerked at Jara del Favero Abogados, focusing his practice on Real Estate, Corporate, and Labor Law. He currently advises individuals and companies on tax and corporate matters, with an emphasis on tax optimization, corporate reorganizations, family wealth restructuring and governance, tax consulting, tax litigation, audits and administrative proceedings before the Chilean Internal Revenue Service, international taxation, inheritance and gift tax matters, proceedings before the Chilean Treasury Department and municipal authorities, mergers and acquisitions, and general corporate matters.
